Dear Rapid Prototyping Community,
On October 9, I posted a list of university and government labs doing research on autofab/RP/SFF, and stated that this list excluded a lot of less prominent programs. But this list was only an addendum to the two lists posted a couple of days earlier by Doug VanPutte and Mike Ervin. Many of the programs listed by Doug and Mike were the most prominent in the field, and I received a complaint from one of those programs for being left off my list. So please understand that my list was just intended to add a few names that had been left off of the others.
In the days that followed my posting, other people posted more lists, including several university programs I am not aware of. I think Doug's suggestion was an excellent one, to have a central listing of research programs with descriptions that could be updated by the programs themselves. When Ennex gets its ftp and Web sites running, we would be happy to host such a listing, however maybe one of the currently operating Web sites would like to do it as well.
Anyway, I am sorry for any misunderstanding caused by my posting.
